Staying clean in a survival situation can often be pertinent to your overall health and hence, survival. However, since water is also such an important aspect of survival (or rather, pretty much the most vital aspect), you might find yourself rationing this precious resource and have none left for bathing.

Smoke baths are a great alternative or supplement to water baths, and actually kill bacteria pretty effectively. You can also do them with your clothes on, meaning your clothes will be sanitized as well.

This video from Sigma 3 Survival School shows you how to take smoke baths and explains how they work.
